The Wellness Network is a campus-wide coalition committed to assessing and addressing the health and wellness needs of students, faculty, and staff at The University of Texas at Austin.

The Wellness Network brings together advocates for health and wellness from across UT Austin in order to share information, strategies, and resources. The Wellness Network works toward a campus community where the healthy choice is the easy choice.

The Hazing Prevention and Education Committee identifies campus stakeholders who have an investment in hazing prevention. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join.

The High-Risk Drinking Prevention Committee works to reduce high-risk drinking through research, campus and community partnerships, and recommending environmental management strategies and policy changes.

The Healthy Dining Committee promotes healthy food and beverage selections by providing a variety of accessible and affordable options. All campus community members with an interest in nutrition, food policy, or related topics are invited to participate.

The Mental Health Promotion Committee promotes positive mental health through: mindfulness, expressing gratitude, social connectedness, resilience, personal growth & life-purpose discovery, self-acceptance, and creativity & play.

The Tobacco-Free Campus Committee brings together faculty, staff, and students to work to increase compliance with the Tobacco-Free Campus Policy through campus community partnerships, surveillance of nationwide campus policies, and facilitation of culture change.


Substance Safety and Overdose Prevention

The Committee on Substance Safety and Overdose Prevention works to address substance use in the UT community through a public health and harm reduction framework.


Member Engagement

The Member Engagement Committee works to keep members engaged, give guidance for programming and policies, ensure that our work is representative and inclusive, create the monthly member newsletter, and plan member events such as brown bag and networking sessions.
